Happy Run

Mallard Lake felt barren as temperatures began to drop. The sun was warm, bringing a welcoming heat to the chilly air. The wind shook the trees as the ponds rippled. Today the goal was to practice running up a high incline and Mallard Lake is perfect for it. The gravel paths made it a little hard to run on but the change in scenery was a great treat.

I continued to take my time not pushing hard and focusing on posture. I was able to complete both the incline and personal goals. Today I ran 3.1 miles, stopped, and then ran another 1.1 miles. This was a great feeling. I know that this may not seem like much, but these are important days. These accomplishments keep me motivated and make me want to run more.

GG#4 didn’t seem to work. I did not feel a head high as I ran. I felt no pain or anxiety but did feel dry mouth. My mind was calm and focused. I am waiting to see the change in the strain as the cart gets lower. I have a theory that the effects change over time as oil gets more exposed to the elements.
