Back to the treadmill
Snow and high winds were in the forecast today. Thick clouds covered the bright sun making the day feel tiring. The paths were wet in the morning but dry in the afternoon. Gusts up to 26 mph an hour whipped tree branches back and forth. The wind became so harsh that I decided to take my run indoors. I took two big hits of The Bling before stretching and heading to the gym. The high kicked in quickly and by the time I got to the treadmill, I started to feel a bit of anxiety. This is the first time I have had that type of response from The Bling. My mind started to calm a mile into the run, and I no longer felt high by the second. I believe this strain has a purpose, but it does not pair well with me. I did not feel any pain or dry mouth. Today I ran 2.64 miles, and it was great, but I wish I could’ve run outside as I am getting ready for Fight Hunger 10K on Saturday. This is uncharted territory for me because I have never been to Cantigny Park before.
