Long Fun Run
The spring heat is beginning to cool. Late morning thunderstorms brought in high winds and heavy rain. Luckily, I had already completed my run an hour before. Today I ran 8 miles at a slow pace in the Busse woods. Runners of all speeds filled the paths. The run was comfortable for the first 6 miles but harder for the last two. Normally I would chime in about the weed helping me push, but The Bling still didn’t show up. I shouldn’t be surprised, I have only had success with it once. I believe it works when practicing tempo and Strength runs. I did feel calm and relaxed. I did not feel any pain or anxiety. Also, I didn’t have that much dry mouth, which makes me think it’s more the humidity, not the strain.
