Too Nice to Miss

The fresh smell of soil hit my nostrils as I stood before the long winding path of the Busse woods. The sun pierced through the tree branches as the wind whistled by. The temperature hit an amazing 76 degrees making my run enjoyable and calming. I decided to use a therapy gun on my legs an hour before my normal stretching. This, from my understanding, got the blood flowing in my legs, which helped them “wake up”. I feel this made the run easier. I didn’t have to work my muscles as hard. Today I ran 2.47 miles then stopped and then ran another 1 mile. I thought I started the apple run app for the last mile, but it didn’t record it. I am glad I also started the Nike app. I have not been a fan of the Nike app in the past because it wouldn’t record my runs, but it looks like Apple is the culprit this time.

The Bling… I am not sure what to say. It felt like it was on the sidelines watching the race instead of participating. I had a bit of a head high when I started my run but once I got to the first mile, I didn’t feel anything. I want to say it helped with my second run, but I couldn’t tell. My mind was relaxed and calm. I had no pain or anxiety. I did have a lot of dry mouth.
