Second Try

I messed up my run yesterday and wanted to make up for it today. So, I got up early, went through my stretch routine, and went back to the Busse Woods. Let me start off by saying I didn’t think I was going to run as far as I did. My confidence was low because of the previous day but once I stepped outside and took in the cool air my mind changed. The sun shined brightly warming my face and body. The temperatures were in the high 60s and rising, making it vital to hydrate and stay cool.

Today I ran 8.3 miles, and it was amazing. I believe if you get a good start on your run things will fall into place. Yesterday I got caught up in the hype/energy of all the runners around me. I wanted to be as fast as them, so I started off trying to push my pace. That was a big mistake for me. I need to build on my basics (posture, breathing, and listening to my body) instead of pace and speed. Today was different, there were fewer runners, I started off slower, and started a new strain.

Runtz S1 by Rhythm is an Indica-leaning hybrid. If you have read my previous post, I am a big fan of Rhythm products. They have, at least for me, been consistent. I wanted to try something new, and boy is this “new”. As I looked into this strain, I found that this is a hard one to get but there is minimal information on it. Nothing on terpenes, effect, or what it helps with. There’s plenty of data on Runtz and other variations as well as the linage but that is it. I can easily take the information from the two strains that make up Runtz S1 and speculate but that is not clear information. So, I will only tell you how it affects me.

Runtz S1 appears to be a gentle hit. I didn’t feel that much of a head-high or body high. My mind was calm and relaxed as I focused on posture. I felt a little pain under my shoulder blade and in my thigh but both eased as I ran. I felt no anxiety or dry mouth.

“One step at a time.”

Runts S1 is a Full Spectrum vape by Rhythm: 77.72% THC Indica dominant hybrid.
