The Shamrock Shuffle is just a day away and I am excited. There will be a lot of people, so I have to be aware of my space. I believe once we get about 2 miles in the crowd begins to thin out.
I have decided to stick to my routine and went for a run today. I have gotten mixed information about running the day before a race, some say to rest, but some go for a light jog. I normally have a heavy workout the first two days after my rest day, but I have recently been taking it easy on Saturdays and then harder on Sundays. Today I ran 3.15 miles on a treadmill, and it was great. Skywalker was helpful. My mind was calm and focused. The hit kicked in immediately and lasted the entire time. I didn’t feel any pain in my legs, back, knees, or feet. I did feel dry mouth, but no anxiety.
