End of the cycle run
Even with the temperatures in the high 70s I wanted to finish my training schedule indoors. I swapped out my Brooks Ghost for the Glycerin in hopes of breaking them in before the race. I have been informed by other runners not to try anything new on the day of your event, which makes sense. But my current shoes have lost their tread and I need new ones. So, I laced up the Glycerins and headed to the gym. I took my time and ran 3.1 miles. It felt great to move my legs and to get my body moving.
GG# 4 kept my mind calm and focused. I felt a slight head high at the start of the run, but it did not last. I felt a slight pain in my left leg but no pain in my right. I also did not feel any anxiety.
